My husband and I were on vacation and he needed some new tennis shoes. We were greeted nicely and directed to the shoe section as soon as we entered the store. The associate working in the shoe section was very friendly and waited on us promptly. She helped my husband quickly find a pair of tennis shoes that were very comfortable. When we checked out, the associate helped us redeem a discount coupon and access our Dick's card electronically to make the purchase. We were very impressed by the friendliness and helpfulness of all the associates in the store.

I walked into the ithaca store on a mission to get a new gym bag for my husband. I was met at the door by Dody. She asked me if she could help me, I asked where the gym bags were which she pointed out. Then as I was in the area, a worker named Chris overheard me talking to Dody and grabbed me a bag from the top shelf and waited for me! Great service ! And Stevie at the register was sweet too! Love customer service like that!

Camden in the shoe department was extremely helpful. We came in to get my daughter shoes for track and he was very knowledgeable about what type of shoe is good for certain types of running. He also didn’t get upset at all when we didn’t get her size correct and he had to run back and forth to get us the right one. Thank you Camden!

Walked in, store is nice, new, fresh… But it’s largely an apparel and shoe store. They have a decent selection of golfing stuff, home training stuff… what they don’t have is true outdoor gear. Zero fishing, zero hunting, essentially zero camping. They have ONE kayak bolted to an end display that’s there purely to say ‘look at our online inventory and ship it to store’. You’re a massive “sports store” located on arguably the BEST fishing lake in the state, and you have LITERALLY NOTHING boating or fishing related for sale?! What a shame… Look, if you want outdoor apparel or shoes, it’s worth a visit. If you want anything remotely hunting, camping, fishing related… you know, actually outdoor activities, don’t bother. A complete disappointment as far as I’m concerned. I was legitimately out the door in 90 seconds, 2 stars is generous, this might as well be a Kohl’s.
